## The store

Ell's Jewelry is at 2202 N Kickapoo in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and has been in town since 1924. Melissa has been behind the case for 40 years. She's on camera in most of the videos, and those are my hands showing the pieces.

## Before

Ell's was doing decent business, but they weren't putting out any content. They knew they needed it. Nobody there had the time to make it. That's why they hired me.

You can see it on the page: in August 2026 it posted nothing at all, and in September 2025 it had 8 posts and 7,779 views.

## What we did

I started on September 1, 2026. The first month included shoot days in the store, drone footage of the building, product videos, educational carousels and photo posts. That came to 19 posts in September.

## What happened

- 48,543 Facebook views in September 2026, up from 7,779 in September 2025. That includes 3,256 paid views.
- The best month the page has had since Facebook started counting views for it in October 2024.
- Comments went from 2 to 80. Shares went from 13 to 49.
- 73 new followers.

**The Kickapoo Reel.** One video about the store's place on Kickapoo stood out:

- 18,303 views and 13,604 people reached (2,452 of those views were boosted)
- 87.5% of viewers didn't follow the store yet
- 67 new followers, and 556 people watched a full minute
- 426 reactions, 42 comments and 23 shares

**October.** Through October 24, the page had 27,162 views with nothing boosted. That's already more than any full October on record; the old best was 8,337 in October 2024. The typical post got 2,359 views, up from 1,412 in September and 802 the year before.

## What's next

Views are up. Conversation isn't keeping pace yet: October had 13 comments across 11 posts. Getting more customers talking under the posts is the focus for the coming months.
